Introduction to the National School of Dental Assisting-Erie Coast

Attend the National School of Dental Assisting - Erie Coast, and become a dental assistant in 12 short weeks! The dental assisting field is fun, fulfilling, challenging and in need of qualified personnel.

Dental offices all over the United States are experiencing a shortage of competent assistants. As technology expands in dentistry, there is an increasing demand for skilled assistants who are able to take x-rays, take impressions, make temporary crowns, assist chair side, and perform other important tasks.
In recent years, experienced dental assistants have earned up to $19 per hour in the metropolitan market of Cleveland & Akron. Salary earnings depend primarily on the responsibilities associated with the job and the geographic location of employment.

Located in a working dental office, the National School of Dental Assisting, Elyria, has at its disposal state-of-the-art dental equipment and is staffed with experienced instructors who have taught and worked in the dental assisting field for many years. Two instructors are present each instructional day, with an average class size of 12 students.

The school is owned and operated by Dr. Scott Nagy, an experienced dentist, who works in his own private practice in Elyria, Ohio. The objective of the program is to help students achieve a level of competence in basic, and some expanded duty, dental assisting functions that will qualify them for an entry to mid-level position as a chair-side assistant in a general dental practice.

The program emphasizes clinical skills in recognition of the necessary tasks required in a working dental practice. The "hands-on" style of the program is why we say "we teach the job of dental assisting!"

The National School of Dental Assisting school brings a high standard and many years of experience to dental assisting education nationwide. With the NSDA, Erie Coast location, a well organized curriculum and high teaching standards are available in your area.
